Soffione - 1 oz. or 1/2 oz - Dandelion skin balm with German Chamomile & Lavender

Our farm-rendered and filtered leaf lard, infused with native spring dandelions. High altitude French lavender, and wildcrafted German Chamomile essential oils add additional benefits to this all-purpose skin balm! Dandelions have many historical uses and benefits which I unfortunately can't share here as per FDA regulations governing cosmetic products.

The Italian word for our common dandelion is “Soffione”. “Dente di leone” (Lion’s teeth) is different, a larger and bitter edible green

Lard, also known as pig tallow, strutto, manteca, or saindoux- is the closest to our skin's own natural sebum.

1 oz. or 1/2 oz. net weight is packaged in a silver metal tin with screw-on lid and full color/waterproof labeling.

Ingredients: Purified pig Tallow (lard), Cera Alba Wax (Beeswax), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Organic Infusion of Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) and Essential oils of Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), German Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)

To fully detail them would push a product into the category of being a drug, and not a cosmetic. Unfortunately, this means that you, the customer has to do some research in order to understand the benefits that specific ingredients have on the skin. All balms are for external body and face use, excluding the mucous membranes. Herbs and essential oils have been purported to have various skin beneficial properties throughout history. To detail any more specifics than this is in violation of FDA regulations for cosmetics.
