St Kateri Tekakwitha : Lily of the Mohawks - Amazonite & Iridescent glass True Bronze 5 decade Rosary
This semi-precious stone 5 decade Rosary is made with smooth earth and sky-toned amazonite gemstone Ave beads (8mm) and smooth faceted Pater beads (12mm). Colorful iridescent faceted glass czech fire polished accent beads and vintage inspired bead caps throughout.
This Rosary's colors are inspired by a mural of American Saints, featuring St. Kateri in the center (photo in this listing is a cropped detail photo of a portion of the mural). The artist is Jan Henryk de Rosen, a Polish-born American painter.
A heavy true bronze centerpiece depicts the lily flower, which St. Kateri (the Lily of the Mohawks) is known for.. Crucifix is detailed with lilies on each point and is true bronze cast from vintage originals, all other bronze-toned hardware is brass. This Rosary also features a double sided St. Kateri medal. This Rosary is at a higher price point due to the semi-precious Amazonite, and the three true bronze components. Bronze is a semi-precious metal and these vintage cast components are quite costly. This Rosary contains three instead of two, due to the added medal.
Each rosary I make is one of a kind and prayerfully assembled.
I strive for high quality and durable craftsmanship, but should you have any issues with breakage or loss of an individual segment of one of the Rosaries, I will repair the broken segment for you, or rework all of the beadwork around the original bronze elements in such a situation that the individual beadwork cannot be recreated. This service requires advance authorization and return of the entire rosary/parts so that I may give it prompt attention.
In addition to creating the custom Rosaries shown here, I'm also a member of Our Lady's Rosary Makers and make Mission Rosaries, to send to communities in need.
